Black Tie Dinner Program
Black Tie Dinner is a formal charity dinner held each year in Dallas, Texas to raise money for the North Texas GLBT community. Since its inception, Black Tie Dinner has remained one of the largest GLBT fund-raising events in the nation, both in attendance and distribution. Each year, up to 3,000 guests experience this dinner and it has an annual distribution of over $1 Million to its beneficiaries.
Objective: Create a unique, cost-effective program for the 33rd annual Black Tie Dinner, whose 2014 theme was “FORWARD” and focused on the diversity of its beneficiaries. The client wanted the 2014 program to add to the evening’s festivities and become a must-have, take-home keepsake.
Execution: Converted the previous catalog-style, saddle-stitch version into a 9"x9" case-bound booklet, thereby creating a coffee table-style program at the same basic price point.
Results: The Black Tie Dinner team was extremely happy with the final program, both in execution and design as well as staying within their original budget requirements. As a non-profit organization, it is important that each and every aspect of their marketing materials represent their dedication to and partnership with the GLBT community.
